Our computer center and all our locations are always connected to the outside world with at least two different providers, each with different cable routing. That applies for the Internet connections as well as for our internal MPLS wide area network, which we connect our locations with. Our home offices are connected to our infrastructure with the most modern VPN solutions. We can therefore effectively and consequently control and enforce our security concepts. On the topic of operational safety and data security, we can always offer what the current technology and infrastructure is able to provide. Our partner Fortinet offers excellent services in multiple segments with their cyber protection solution FortiGate, FortiMail and FortiGuard threat intelligence services - just to mention three of the many sophisticated services which we use to protect our server and our infrastructure. The greatest companies in the world use Fortinet, especially in order to filter the highly sensitive SIP/VoIP traffic. In line with the catchphrase: prevention in place of crisis management.

In computing power storage and Networks we are working with the leading solutions in the Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Without consequent and clear deployment planning, it is not possible for customer service to run smoothly, especially at peak times. That's why we have decided on the professional solution: the InVision Workforce Management. With this software, the management can sit back and relax when sufficient staff have to be planned in for the forecasts. Microsoft is a brand which needs no further explanation. Whether Office, ERP or Skype for Business, we have been making use of professional solutions for communication in the company for years. With the takeover of the IT department by our CIO Dr. Benjamin Helbig, this relationship has been strengthened since 2013 and has developed into cooperation. This company is one of the few that know what is important for the professional running of computer centers and therefore for the customer: from the building and the security infrastructure to the authorization of access – everything is perfectly thought through. Proof of this is our computer center in Karlsruhe, which has been securely housed there since 2012.

Zertificon

In line with our belief that 'trust is good - guaranteed trust is better', we rely on the professionalism and experience of Zertificon, a leading manufacturer of email encryption solutions for companies. Their Z1 SecureMail Gateway is installed directly behind the mail server at the computer center and it encodes and encrypts emails centrally. For incoming emails, the authenticity of the sender is automatically checked along with the validity of the used certificate. Certificates are automatically provided for our employees via the Zertificon solution at a trust center.
